About Us
Who We Are
Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex was established in 1994, driven by a mission to provide affordable housing solutions and empower families in the community. As part of the global Habitat for Humanity network, our local chapter has worked tirelessly to build homes and communities, believing that everyone deserves a decent place to live.
Habitat for Humanity Windsor-Essex, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity Canada, works with corporate and individual donors and volunteers to give families a hand up, not a hand out.
What We Do
Over the years, we have mobilized volunteers, local businesses, and community partners to create lasting change through construction projects, renovation efforts, and educational programs.
Our commitment to fostering homeownership and enhancing the quality of life in Windsor-Essex continues to inspire and uplift families, promoting a spirit of collaboration and community resilience.
Habitat for Humanity is founded on the belief that decent, affordable housing is a basic human right.

We are working for a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.
